7:00 pm
Clifton Community Bookshop, 10 Clifton Rd, Bristol, BS8 1AF
Join us for a fascinating conversation with Sophie Pavelle about her latest book, to have or to hold: nature’s hidden relationships, which featured on the 2025 Wainwright Prize Longlist for Conservation Writing.
Sophie will present nature’s frauds, fortunetellers, and misfits in a thrilling exploration of symbiotic relationships between species trying to survive the climate crises – and what they can teach us about living together.
Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Each ticket includes a glass of wine or soft drink. Sophie’s book will be available to purchase.
We would like this event to be accessible to everyone. If you would like to come but cannot afford a ticket, please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@bristoltalks.co.uk.
